Bereavement
A Place to Grieve
Grief can arise from many different types of loss, and every experience is unique. I have supported clients through a wide range of bereavements, including the loss of a partner, parent, child, sibling, friend, or beloved pet, as well as losses through illness, suicide, sudden or unexpected death, traumatic deaths, miscarriage, termination and other life-changing experiences. Whether your grief is recent or something you have carried for many years, you will be met with compassion, an understanding of the complexities of grief, and without judgement.
Grief can feel overwhelming, and there is no right or wrong way to experience it. I offer a safe, supportive space where you can talk openly about your loss at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we may use a range of therapeutic approaches, including person-centred counselling to help you feel truly heard and understood, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to gently explore unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of coping, and mindfulness techniques to help manage intense emotions and reduce anxiety.
Because no two people grieve in the same way, I tailor my approach to your individual needs and circumstances. My aim is to help you process your loss, make sense of your feelings, and find a way to move forward while continuing to honour the person or relationship that has been so important to you.
Anxiety & Stress
Find Calm. Regain Confidence. Feel Like Yourself Again.
Living with anxiety and chronic stress can feel overwhelming. Racing thoughts, constant worry, difficulty sleeping, irritability, or feeling on edge can make even simple daily tasks seem exhausting. If this sounds familiar, you're not alone—and you don't have to face it by yourself.
I provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space where clients can talk openly without fear of judgment. Rather than simply managing symptoms, I strive to help clients understand the underlying causes of their anxiety and stress, empowering them with practical tools to create lasting change.
Together, we can:
- Identify the triggers that contribute to your anxiety and stress.
- Understand unhelpful thought patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
- Learn effective coping strategies to reduce overwhelm and regain a sense of control.
- Build resilience and confidence in handling life's challenges.
- Develop healthy boundaries and self-care routines that support your wellbeing.
- Improve sleep, relaxation, and emotional balance.
- Create personalised strategies that fit your lifestyle and goals.
Therapy isn't about "fixing" you—because you are not broken. It's about helping you reconnect with your strengths, gain clarity, and develop the skills to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and peace.
Imagine waking up feeling calmer, more in control, and better equipped to handle whatever the day brings. With the right support, this is possible.
Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it may also be the beginning of a healthier, happier chapter in your life. If you're ready to reduce anxiety, manage stress more effectively, and improve your overall wellbeing, I'd be honoured to support you on your journey.
Sports Performance
Perform at Your Best When It Matters Most
The difference between success and disappointment is often not physical ability—it's mindset.
Whether you're a professional athlete, dedicated amateur, or rising young competitor, the mental demands of sport can be overwhelming. Performance anxiety, loss of confidence, fear of failure, injury, perfectionism, self-doubt, and the pressure to succeed can all affect not only your results, but your enjoyment of the sport you love.
I provide specialist psychological support to help athletes develop the mental strength, resilience, and confidence needed to consistently perform at their best. My approach is tailored to you, combining evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a genuine understanding of the unique pressures that come with training, competing, and striving for excellence.
Together, we can help you:
- Perform confidently under pressure.
- Develop unshakeable self-belief.
- Improve focus and concentration.
- Manage competition nerves and anxiety.
- Recover mentally from injury or setbacks.
- Overcome performance blocks and self-sabotage.
- Build resilience after defeat.
- Maintain motivation throughout training and competition.
- Create a healthier relationship with success, failure, and achievement.
Mental performance isn't about eliminating pressure—it's about learning how to thrive because of it.
My aim is not simply to help you overcome today's challenge, but to equip you with the psychological tools that will benefit you throughout your sporting career and beyond. Many athletes discover that improving their mental wellbeing doesn't just enhance performance—it transforms their confidence in every area of life.
If you're ready to unlock your potential, gain a competitive mental edge, and perform with greater confidence, clarity, and resilience, I'd be delighted to support you on your journey.
